Get Out 02:51
In my mind of this time, I am here for a while I can't stay in your shade, just move on that's all I'll say And you break free from me My soul can breathe on again Get out... My cold hard mind is the only sun that I find I don't care for the pain, I'll endure it all again And you break free from me My soul can breathe on again Get out... I'll miss out... I'll get out...
2.
Until Then 04:50
Come on all of you here You can't see for your fears Come on all you sycophants I'm tired of you Sitting round and wondering what am I to do And it's all so messed up, it is so messed up... Dragging round the ball and chain, I'll try for you Playing this silly, silly game, I cannot move And it's all so messed up, it is so messed up... So come on all you sycophants relinquish your grip I can't run away from this, I know, I know...
3.
Cast Aside 03:05
Yeah it's all been the same This backwards world crawling through my brain Tell me something not to be ashamed of Cos it feels alright, to live my life Maybe someone good will come along A bright eyed girl who sings a song With every note never to go wrong And it feels alright, to live our lives And we want, everything, to be like, a movie But we all, got cast, aside Let me get to all your sun Shining on the chosen one Maybe I'm just not that fun Cos it's not me, it's not me But we want, everything, to be like, a movie But we all, got cast, aside
4.
Lord & Lady: Welcome my young knave...Heart so stout and brave...Who stands amongst us here...Doubtless without cheer...Loathe to decry most of your time...You think everything will be alright...We don't understand you in our minds...You don't see a point in our fight. Knave: Lady and sire I'm bought entirely...I never meant to harm you direly! Lord & Lady: Fill me up with this...Drink us up in fits...Broken we are here...Something we don't fear...We're self-serving most of the time...We're all drunk on this short-sighted wine...Dance to me if you want out of this...Drink with us and you're head you won't miss! Knave: Bereft am I...I'm caught entirely...Don't strike down upon me sire please! Lord & Lady: Are you cognizant...We hold you in contempt...You overstepped your bounds...Now our ax will sound...Don't give us a look of disdain...We're not yours to judge I'm afraid...You have had your chance just before now...Good day to you but please take a bow. Knave: Lady and sire I implore you...Please don't cast me to your floor you.......

Strung Out 03:28
I know how you feel, I can't stay, I can't stay It pains my heart to see you strung out this way, strung out this way Maybe it's for the best? I don't know Maybe it's not? What we do to make things so? I don't know And how'd we fall apart? I can't say But I'll still say I'm sorry things turned out this way Maybe its for the best? I don't know Maybe its not? Anyways, I'll love you still.
6.
Oh everybody We're all null, I'm so sorry We get so excited, we get so excited Over nothing at all, nothing at all Have one at me I can take what you think I won't be afraid, I won't be afraid Of what you say, of what you say It's alright, I can see my faults, I keep them in sight Everyone, you don't have to believe, you will reach the end, eventually It's all there we're just too tired to care God, keep us going Our lives can be so lonely We have hope that we're all loved, we have hope that we're all loved God...
7.
All In Time 05:16
Something falls in our minds, it will be the end of us Empty guns shoot us up, mental strikes, internal strife All I'm saying, all I'm saying Bide our time with the flies The updrafts can blind our eyes Solemn hopes of our fathers, windswept, scattered under the sun The clouded sun, the clouded sun Don't be so unaffected I can see, I can see it's all going to be that way All in time, in our time The winds sway, our memories fade, we don't care, we're not here anymore Stolid lives, downward cries Moonlight's foremost in our eyes Draw our breath before the plunge, sacred hearts have all been sung All I'm saying, all I'm saying is don't be so unaffected The day is spent, our time we lent to unabridged exploits and fits Still something falls in our minds, it will be the end of this
8.
Some say time says enough Most just can't, can't keep up Peel your eyes for this view You'll always find something new Say your sorry for my time You see right through me But catch my lies Come back to living life Maybe now I'll get it right Peel your eyes for this view You'll always find something new Don't look back...
9.
Experiment 05:47
So you think you found your way out? Well you're wrong So you think you found your way out? Well you're wrong, wrong Sleeping hearts unnamed Darling sons please refrain Pissing their lives away Lived out their days Sail by on ships Commiserate on this Ages flow by All tricks of the eye So you think... Think... So you think of me kindly everywhere you go I must say I'm gracious to be known A martyred spirit comes to claim his own I am star struck And you know you're just like your sires, filled with desires Nothing has changed you know it's time You must be reckoned entirely, set on your pyre please All fettered with diamonds and beautiful silence

about

Days Among Giants captures The Primary with an all-new lineup after the departure of members Ricky Herring & Jekris Certeza. In their places were Matt Pedersen & Jacques Lescoat who quickly provided a new sound and feel to the group. This album would see the group more firmly shape their sound and creative process and is leaps and bounds from their first official effort the year before, People Going Places.

Press:

"(they) remind you of Interpol, Radiohead and even the legendary Pink Floyd...the passion is there, the song-writing is strong and the instrumentals are top-notch. The record opens up with “Get Out,” where lead singer, Josh Vasquez, shows some amazing range. The song is short and straight to the point, things that strongly missing in the music industry. It sets the tone for the record, definitely keeping your interest. Some other great songs on the album are “Experiment,” and “Until Then.” “Experiment” is a near spot-on interpretation of Pink Floyd, its almost scary, the slow guitar playing and traumatizing vocals." - Independent Media Magazine

“The band’s newest album, Days Among Giants, plays out like a veteran’s greatest hits box set, mapping out ten, fifteen, twenty years of evolution in under an hour (the early, bar-room days; the initial successes, the platinum record sales and tell-all biographies; and the experimental finale).” - Patrick - The Muse In Music

"The band often opts for the aberrant course, not only keeping the listener off-balance, but serving as an indication that the band isn't necessarily satisfied resting on their laurels..." - Dallas Observer
